METEORITES FOR SALE

Meteorites are pieces of solid cosmic material — iron, stone, or a mixture of both — that have landed on Earth. They are divided into three main groups and many sub-groups, as well as impactites. Rarer than gold, diamonds, or even emeralds, meteorites are fascinating collectibles that help us understand the origins of the universe and our solar system.

  • WATCH HOW IT IS MADE! Aerolite Meteorites is the first company in the world, to the best of our knowledge, to create t-shirts made with actual dust from the Moon and Mars! A bit skeptical?
Watch us trace each step of the process for creating our new line of meteorite-dust-infused merchandise from start to finish in this one-on-one video filmed, on location, at Aladdin Graphics in Tucson, AZ. All meteorite dust is collected from officially classified Lunar and Martian meteorites.
While it is illegal to own Apollo return samples, we obtain moon dust from meteorites that originated on the Moon, fell to Earth, were found, and identified in the lab. The Moon rocks that Apollo astronauts Buzz Aldrin, Neil Armstrong, and the other moonwalkers brought back to Earth did, however, help meteorite scientists to identify a small number of meteorites as being of lunar origin. How do we get moon dust? Like sawdust produced when a wood is sawn, lunar meteorites produce “Moon dust” when a larger specimen is cut into slices in the lab. We collect this precious material and have added it to the ink used to screen print our Moon and Mars t-shirts. That's right: your La Luna shirt contains actual dust from a meteorite carried here all the way from the moon!!
  • When it comes to sporting your trendy threads, you consider the quality, the fabric and the details; it's all in the details. And what better way to customize your jackets, backpacks or meteorite kits than applying this top quality embroidered patch with the official Aerolite Meteorites "wings" logo designed by CEO Geoff Notkin? Aerolite Meteorites Inc is not responsible for any sudden increase in meteorite hunting powers while sporting this epic patch.

During the laboratory preparation process a larger meteorite is sawn into smaller pieces, producing moondust, not unlike sawdust. We have added this dust to the white ink used during the screen printing process to create this design, printed on the back of the hoodie. Your Moon hoodie contains actual dust from a meteorite carried here all the way from the moon!!

Occasionally, meteorites strike the planet Mars with enough force to throw pieces of the planet out into space. Against all odds, some of those fragments have traveled through space and impacted our own planet. How do we get Mars dust? Like sawdust produced when a wood is sawn, martian meteorites produce "Mars dust" when a larger specimen is cut into slices in the lab. We collect this precious material and have added it to the ink used to screen print our Mars t-shirts. That's right; your Mars shirt contains actual dust from a meteorite carried here all the way from the Red Planet!

Neil Gaiman: Dream Dangerously from Respect Films on Vimeo.

Neil Gaiman: Dream Dangerously is the official documentary about one of the world’s most adored storytellers and novelists. Gaiman first came to prominence as the author of the genre-redefining comic book series, Sandman, and then made the extraordinary transition to acclaimed novelist, childrens’ book author, and film and television producer. Dream Dangerously follows the author of American Gods, Coraline, Stardust, MirrorMask and Good Omens (co-written with Terry Pratchett) on a marathon book tour and provides an intimate, unparalleled, and wonderfully personal portrait of the charismatic author which is in turns humorous, moving, illuminating, and inspiring. The film includes exclusive and engaging interviews with Terry Pratchett, Bill Hader, Amanda Palmer, George R.R. Martin, Michael Sheen, Will Wheaton, and many others, notably Aerolite Meteorites CEO, Geoff Notkin, who is Gaiman’s lifelong friend. Notkin is the film’s executive producer and is extensively interviewed in it. Dream Dangerously also delves into Gaiman’s early life and examines his little-known history as a singer in a rock band (with Notkin) as part of the original London punk rock scene. The film also includes original music, artwork, and animation by Gaiman’s friends and collaborators. Dream Dangerously is a captivating look at one of the great creative minds of our times, available now for the first time ever on Blu-ray. Our copies are from the first pressing and are limited to 1,000 copies. WHILE SUPPLIES LAST AND EXCLUSIVE TO US:  Each disc comes with a free, original (not a reproduction) color handbill from the European premiere of Dream Dangerously at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, 2016.
